From DooJoon, Yoseob, Kikwang, Junhyung, DongWoon and HyunSeung that forms a boyband BEAST The band B2ST has got an acroymn of [Boys 2 Search for the Top] meaning. Last year on October 14, they officially debuted with their album [BEAST IS THE B2ST]. Although they have not debut for more than 100 days, they have already been topping various Music Charts in South Korea. With their first step of success with [BEAST IS THE B2ST] album. During March 2010, BEAST make a shocking comeback with [SHOCK OF THE NEW ERA] album which has also topped various music charts in South Korea upon releasing, offically telling us that Beast Era have arrived.
Actually what raises BEAST popularity was that, before their debut, has been through reality show and elimination through competition, each member has already got their own loyal fans. From the broadcast of MTV beast that start on August 2009, one could see their serious training and the process of whatever they are doing, has allowed various viewers to understand the hardwork of BEAST! Due to their history, BEAST already caught the interest of many DIEHARD loyal fans followers,Korean Music Industry has also been following closly towards this boyband, after a long await till October, 2009, PLAYCUBE managers has officially released the members of BEAST namely, DooJoon, JunHyung, Yoseob, Kikwang, DongWoon and Hyunseung which consists of 6 members
 
Although boyband B2ST has got a meaning of [Boys 2 Search for the Top], however the reason to why the are called BEAST, actually has got a very special small story. Everybody should have know the meaning of BEAST in Englis as some animals, but before their debut, theres a wellknown chorographer AJ which strongly sense the beastly feeling in them and after coming to South Korea and seeing their performance, he shocking said [So Beast] , which allow the manager of the company to find out that BEAST also carry an AWESOME, AMAZING meaning. As expected, from KOREA CREATIVE CONTENT AGENCY they was awarded with the best rookie award and awarding with the Cyworld Digital Music Awards for rookie of the month and 19th Seoul Music Awards with the Best Newcomer Award which oce again proves that they have successfully entered the music scene.
 
Other than winning various Newcomer Awards after 3 month of debut, beast has also started promoting overseas! This year January, beast has also been to Taiwan with their senior 4MINUTE has also amazed their oversea Taiwan fans! To take care of beast taiwan fans, beast was also promoting their album [SHOCK OF THE NEW ERA] and specially made a [SHOCK OF THE NEW ERA Asia Version 1] which consists a few of their most famous track [BAD GIRL][BEAST IS THE B2ST][MYSTERY][JUST BEFORE SHOCK] etc and has also cosist their lively and relaxing song [SHOCK]
